As we look back on this year, we are so grateful for the families who have stood with us. Because of your prayers, encouragement, and financial support, we’ve been able to reach more parents with biblical truth and practical help for the homeschool journey.
Here’s what your support has made possible this year:
New free resources for homeschooling families – Your generosity has allowed us to offer a wealth of free resources, including The Affordable Homeschooling Guide, The Homeschooler’s Guide to School Choice, The Homeschool Survival Kit, and free streaming of Schoolhouse Rocked: The Homeschool Revolution. And before the end of the year, we’ll release three new resources: Raising Faithful Christians through Home Education, Time to Talk: A Guide for Protecting Our Kids from Pornography, and Navigating Sexuality and Culture: A Guide for Homeschool Families.
For the first time ever, lifetime access to the Homegrown Generation Family Expo is also free!
Weekly encouragement – We’ve continued to produce new Schoolhouse Rocked Podcast and Homeschool Insights episodes every week—packed with heartfelt, practical, in-the-trenches homeschool wisdom and encouragement.
A growing team – This year we welcomed new hosts! Aby Rinella, Meeke Addison, Kristi Clover, and Cindy West joined Yvette Hampton on the Schoolhouse Rocked Podcast, each bringing unique experience and insight. They’ll all be back next year with even more encouragement!
Expanding the Biblical Family Network – We’ve added three new shows this year: The Nicki Truesdell Podcast, The Renton Rathbun Show, and The Gospel Shaped Family Podcast with Dr. Josh and Jen Mulvihill. These join The Schoolhouse Rocked Podcast, Culture Proof, Homeschool Insights, Made2Homeschool, and The Thinking Dad—equipping Christian families with a biblical perspective on faith, parenting, worldview, and education.
A brand-new website – Everything you love—our blog, podcast, Schoolhouse Rocked: The Homeschool Revolution (now streaming free!), the Homegrown Generation Family Expo, and The Homeschool Survival Kit—is now all in one place at SchoolhouseRocked.com.
We also launched the Public School Abuse Archive, a vital (and sadly necessary) resource for families still in the public school system.
New Topic and Series Guides – Our new website makes it easier than ever to explore all our past series in one place, including Homeschooling Every Subject, Homeschooling Through the Years (Preschool to Graduation), The Homeschool Survival Series, Healthy Homeschooling, Getting Started, The Family Series, and Hope in Suffering.

REVIVAL, ONE FAMILY AT A TIME
Over the years, we’ve received countless messages like this from moms and dads (and even some kids!) who have been impacted by the Schoolhouse Rocked ministry. We know this work is not because of anything special in us, but because of God’s great power—and it’s all for His glory.
This ministry isn’t just about today’s homeschoolers—it’s about REVIVAL.
As parents pour God’s truth into their children, they are shaping future generations and preparing hearts for eternity.
And we’re committed to continuing this work as long as the Lord allows.
2026 MINISTRY NEEDS
There’s still much work to do, and we can’t do it without your help. As we prepare for 2026, here are our immediate ministry needs:
Non-Profit Formation – $5,000
While we had planned to complete our non-profit formation in 2025, we didn’t receive the necessary funds to cover the costs this year.* This remains a top priority.
Since forming Schoolhouse Rocked in 2016, much of our work has been supported by community donations. We’ve relied on fiscal sponsors, meaning most gifts have not been tax-deductible. Forming a non-profit will not only allow donors to deduct their gifts, but will also open new ministry opportunities—such as a Homeschool Scholarship Fund to help families purchase curriculum and supplies.
Studio, Office, and Technology Maintenance – $8,500
Some of our critical studio and office equipment needs replacement, and we have ongoing costs for maintaining the website and hosting infrastructure.
Schoolhouse Rocked Podcast – $10,000
As we prepare for our 9th season, your support will help us expand to new platforms, reach more families, and continue sharing biblical encouragement for homeschooling, parenting, and discipleship. While sponsors cover some production costs, there remain essential expenses that depend on donations.
New Resources for Homeschool Families
With our upgraded website, we now have the perfect platform to distribute valuable new resources—encouraging new families to start strong and helping current homeschoolers finish well.
We look forward to continuing this work with you as we serve the homeschooling community together.
