Tupelo, Oklahoma School Employee Arrested on Multiple Child Sex Abuse Charges
Lunch lady accused of sending explicit photos and videos to student; investigation led by OSBI and Coal County Sheriff’s Office
TUPELO, OK. — A former Tupelo Public Schools cafeteria worker, Lyndsay Hamer, 30, of Coalgate, Oklahoma, has been arrested on multiple child sexual abuse charges following an investigation by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI). Authorities allege that Hamer sent sexually explicit photos and videos to a student. The Coal County Sheriff’s Office initiated the investigation in April before requesting assistance from OSBI.
According to investigators, Hamer faces six charges in total: one count of soliciting sexual conduct with a minor through technology, two counts of lewd or indecent acts with a child under 16, two counts of showing obscene material to a minor, and one count of providing an alcoholic beverage to a person under 21. She was arrested on Thursday and booked into Coal County Jail.
Tupelo Public Schools confirmed that Hamer is no longer employed by the district. The case underscores ongoing concerns about student safety and inappropriate staff-student relationships within public schools.
